Role Description:

As a Civil Engineer at LCH BUILDERS, you will play a crucial role in the successful execution of our civil engineering projects. Your responsibilities will include:

• Developing comprehensive civil engineering designs and plans that adhere to industry standards and regulations.

• Overseeing all aspects of civil engineering projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.

• Providing on-site guidance and support to construction teams, ensuring efficient and accurate work execution.

• Identifying and resolving technical challenges to maintain project timelines and budgets.
• Collaborating with architects, engineers, and other stakeholders for seamless project delivery.

Qualifications:

• Tanzanian citizenship
• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering or a related field

• At least 2 years of experience in civil engineering design, planning, and buildings and roads projects management
• Strong technical skills in civil engineering principles and practices

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities
• Proven project management skills, including budgeting, scheduling, and risk management

• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively
• A passion for construction and a desire to contribute to LCH BUILDERS’ growth

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working on civil construction projects in Tanzania e.g. roads, bridges e.t.c
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations

• Proficiency in relevant software applications (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, Project Management tools)
• Flexibility to work anywhere in Tanzania
